Are you losing weight still? Are you working out? Can you run a mile yet? Yes, Yes and Yes...Well kind of....I have been having a VERY hard time with weight loss, breastfeeding, and schedule!
It is important to me to only offer Ellie breast milk. I do not have anything against formula as 2 of my 4 kids had formula and Trev was 11 months of it! However I do not have the income to afford something that I can make my own for free. I also do not want to add any chance of food allergies, etc like I truly believe happens with Casey!
I also have so very little time...I go all morning, get my shopping done, doc appts etc before 11 a.m. The kids typically come home and nap and I want to just sit and relax typically so everyone has a good nap...Around 2-3 everyone is up and I am trying to clean, cook, plan for tomorrow, help with homework, baths, etc. So as you can see if I wanna get to the gym I really have to go all day and then have energy to also work out.
In January I managed to rack in 39 miles 22 of those were running. In January I also managed to finish the 5k training plan and run a 5k! In January I managed to only lose 4 pounds that actually stayed off! I had lost 6 but 2 came right back. I was losing a hefty pace and Ellie was screaming, yelling, eating every hour etc. So I clearly was not making enough. Weight Loss is important but not that important.
So what am I doing now? NOT following Weight Watchers...The program just doesn't work for me! I am using my fitness pal again with goal set to lose 1 pound a week....Right now Im accounting for 500 cal burned with breastfeeding but that may need to be lowered! Im going to weigh in every other week and update you on my 10k training program...Im running slow..around 4.8 but Im okay with that!

Something i always forget..."it took awhile to put the weight on...it will take awhile to come off!"...and keep up the good job running! 4.8 is better than sitting.on the couch pace lol :)
