de-cluttering beats the heat!

Its 103 outside right now so needless to say the kiddos and I are inside!  I decided to spend the past evening and naptime working on clearing out my craft room.  I always buy stuff and never start the project.  So I organized my bins, found a ton of crap that needed to be thrown out, and found stuff I had forgotten about...

I also found some rope and a left over mirror from my Eagen mirror wanna be!  I went to town with some old nails, hot glue, the rope and mirror and came up with a very cute little mirror for the boys room!

I feel accomplished as my bins, paper, and office supplies are all organized..Now to go through all the files, bookmarks, pins and more I have saved for upcoming ideas!

A ballerina?

Aubrey started dance today and my heart just melted.  She was so adorable, so girly and finally HERSELF.  As a girl stuck in between two boys she tends to be a little rough!  As she was doing her running and leap "move" as she calls it we had to tell her it was like running the bases :)

Of course she was the only one with her own outfit and shoes :)

She was just so cute..She of course was BFF with the teacher and kept talking and mentioning things like her pool, her moves, her brothers, her life story.  We had to tell her a few times no talking all listening.  Hopefully next time she will be a little better with that! 

They started with tap which she didnt really care for orignally but really loved it once she heard the tapping of the shoes and all the songs she learned to "move" to :)

She also was so cute with her ballet moves...

Over all she had a blast..She was very good and actually did a lot of the dancing.  I was amazed that for the most part she kept with it, watched the teacher and tried to replicate all the moves.  I am so happy I decided to finally put her in something of her own...

However I dont think bored big brother agreed! 

WS Hurricane wanna be

I was wasting my life away on Pinterest and stumbled upon this beautiful hurricane filled for Fall or Thanksgiving!   The Williams Sonoma was 78 dollars online!! 

So simple yet so pretty!  I of course had to see the replica that 320 Sycamore did...

It was around Thanksgiving when she made this.  She of course filled it with leaves...

I think these are just amazing and you could fill them with ANYTHING for all of the seasons..leaves, jingle bells, small ornament balls, pine, holly berry, moss, spring flowers, sand, shells..The possibilities are endless! 

You really do not need a lot..I had some of this on hand and some I picked up today at Dollar Store..My Dollar store had no candles and 1 hurricane on the shelf I asked a employee and she ran out back and grabbed me boxes :)

You glue the base on the candle stick I used hot glue I may use jeffs epoxy if he fails..time will tell I guess..

I did not glue my candle in I may or may not.  I was thinking depending on season or whats in there things may get stuck and need a little help getting out and the candle would be in the way..However this is a house with three kids that candle stick could be a weapon! 

I made 3 one of a smaller height..I may make one more of a even smaller height if I can find a candle stick holder small enough! 

They look great..smell awful when blown out!  Also make sure you cut your wick down like she suggested!  Her tutorial is FAR better then mine! I may throw some sand and shells in these or buy some leaves at Michaels tomorrow..Be on the look out for these popping up in my house all over the place come Fall-Christmas! I made all three of these for 8 dollars OOP!

Weight Loss

Well its been 2 weeks since I updated last..In all honesty Im just burnt out.  I'm not gaining just maintaining.  I was getting very frustrated with eating very little and not having big numbers fall on the scale.  I started out this journey wanting to be a certain size which I am now.  I do need to eventually lose this last 15-25 pounds which I think I will kick start back when Trevor and Aubrey are in school.  As for now if I lose a couple pounds a month I will be happy.  Not to mention its just so expensive to eat well and we are trying to eat out of our pantries..I am still running and hitting up the gym that wont stop but I am enjoying being able to eat a little.

Seperation Anxiety?!

We are having major issues with Casey...He will not leave my side and cries if I do! I cannot sit down or hes in my lap. 

We took the kids to see Cars 2 and he cried with the sitter the ENTIRE time I was gone! 

I went for a run Saturday could hear him crying from the top of my driveway.  I came in Jeff said he called my name a few times when he couldnt find me he just kept crying.  Then as soon as I got in he wouldnt leave my side so I got to take a shower with the liner/casey/shower curtain..

Its pretty aggravating that I cannot get any time for myself.  Its even more aggravating my husband wont step up and take him more.  I ALWAYS have Casey if I'm given a few minutes to run out to do errands Casey is asleep or with me and it SUCKS!

He is a few months shy of 2 so I know this is normal but his is far worse then the other two and I find myself not wanting to tolerate it more and more!  Please pray this goes away soon Im ready to pull my hair out!  Which by the way he cried the entire time I was gone doing that this past week as well and then crawled up into my lap and wouldnt leave till it was bedtime!

Southwicks Zoo

The kids, my mom and brother took a day and spent it at the Southwicks Zoo in Mendon MA..It was a decent drive but worth it all 3 kids really enjoyed it!  We stopped on the way back home at the Burlington Mall for lunch/dinner at Rain Forest Cafe! The zoo is nice..rather big, a decent amount of animals, you can see A LOT of them close up!  There are a ton of animals there the kids had never seen before so they enjoyed it.  You can miss things as we did.  Its also a rougher terrain Id wear sneakers and bring quarters for the deer feedings!

The zoo was so cool since the kids were up close to A LOT of the animals!  Also feeding deer was just amazing all kids loved it but Casey he wanted them to keep their distance! 

There was also a petting zoo with a ton of goats..My little animal lover(Trev) was loving on all of them.  Aubrey was trying to make them her personal baby doll..they werent fans and Casey was in my arms crying cause he was terrified!

We had a really great day!  It was a little warm but we spent about 3 hours walking around taking our time and were exhausted by time it was time to go home.  I love that zoo and will go back again.
