Projects 2011
We did A LOT to our house this past year. I think as I found many decor magazines, blogs, etc my style definitely evolved and was able to learn cheap tricks and tips to make my home look great on my shoe string budget!
I have a whole list of projects to get done this year as well...None are all that big but some are very time consuming...ALL projects will be done for 100 dollars or less! We are saving up to replace the siding on our house and finish the last part of our basement... so no big huge amazing make overs this year!
Aubreys room:
I love her letters but they just DON'T GO anymore.
I am going to take them down and paint this whole wall the shade of her butterflies and stars!
I also want to add some butterflies in the mix somehow I do have some ideas up my sleeve :)(excuse the laundry basket in the hallway and her bed not made..just keepin it real)
The boys room:
Not much to be done here...Just de-baby Caseys side of the room :(
I also want to get bamboo shades or some sort of shade to avoid this little set up we have working as my boys need the room to be pitch black to sleep!
My oldest is asking for a patriots themed room but Im not sure how I feel about that..time will tell!
The living room is getting a make over yet again...Apparently I just cannot get happy with this room!
I found this beauty at Kohls and fell in love(I paid 9.99 for it! A LOT for me)...then found this throw at Target in the Christmas clearance for 75% off! I am going to go with this color scheme for now and see where it takes me...

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I LOVE it!(now what route to go in here)
I am going to ligten up this room by painting the lower part under the chair rail all a glossy white!
Plus we are making a new dining room table..a la pottery barn :)
The bathroom needs a new paint job...maybe some board and batten
The other bathroom needs light! Maybe a frosted window
The basement I have no idea WHAT I am doing down there but it needs to be brighter!

Weight Watchers no more?!
Well we had some fraud on our checking account and both had to get new cards...In return my Weight Watchers didnt auto re new and now I would have to pay around 50+ to get back on. Its just not in the budget right now...So as for now I am off Weight Watchers but I am going to stick with what they taught me!
Lots of water
Skim milk or low fat yogurt is my source of dairy
no breads
very little carbs(no cereal bars, etc)
Lots of lean proteins(ground turkey and chicken)
TONS AND TONS of fruits and veggies!
Of course keep up with my running!
I took off the week of Christmas...I didnt really care about what I consumed and didnt run. It took its toll I gained about a pound during that week and now am facing the food withdrawls, having issues running more then 1 mile, and more. I am getting back into it slowly!
My goal for January is to lose 4.6 lbs or more!

It was a BEAUTIFUL LAZY DAY! We opened Santas gifts and stockings, made a yummy breakfast, then did our family gifts! We had nowhere to be and no one came over. We were able to get the stuff put away and the kids had tons of fun playing with all of their new stuff...
Then a miracle happend..We get them A LOT and my husband told them if you do not like, want, or think you will play with some of these things let us know we will return them and get gift cards for play places, zoo, resturants they like, etc.
They returned about 200 dollars worth of stuff so now we have a trip to the rainforest cafe and a few trips to the indoor play area planned. Next year we will give gifts but also probably do a few day trip gift cards!
Happy Birthday #1
6 years ago I went from this..
to this little blessing with this not so little 8 pounds baby boy!!
Since then he grew from being the happiest baby ever alive, so a very lovable toddler to a very smart mouth pre-schooler!!
He turns 6 today!
He loves all things super hero, reading, writing and learning! Hes very smart and my emotional child. He can be very sweet but at the same time antagonise his sister to no end! Hes getting so big and so smart and just his own being. He now after 6 years no longer likes being called Trev and wants to be called Trevor. I am so proud to be his mom! I cant believe its already been 6 years I remember that day like it was yesterday! Happy Birthday my first baby!

Christmas Eve 2010
It was a wonderful weekend filled with family and love!
Santa..no wait Grandma came on Christmas Eve
We had a very yummy and stress free dinner(thanks mom for helping)
Aubrey was very into her presents this year
Trev was grateful
Casey wanted less talking and more help of daddy
Grandma cried(its a tradition)
Seriously how cute? I think this was around 6 they were trying to get me to let them go to bed :)
We read Twas the night before Christmas
