Childrens Place

I am NOT impressed with Xfinity lately! I hate to say it but they are just a JOKE!
Our bill went up 40 dollars a month when they switched which annoyed me yes but I called and worked out a plan to get it back down to what it was EVEN though when I called to get the rate we had I was told it would be for the life of our comcast account!
So we got our bill down but the internet was just a joke...very slow just couldnt handle regular surfing the web so I called and asked them to put it at a mid line speed which it took her about 5 times of putting me on hold but she finally got it and it was working great..
I go upstairs and turn the TV on and half our channels are missing so again I call and they fix it RIGHT AWAY! Their error yet again!
So then I go to get back on the internet and its bringing me to a new user page so I call again because I cannot use my internet and again took them about 5-10 mins to get it fixed but they fixed it...
I spent more time on the phone and frustrated with them then I care to admit! It seems like the phone staff are just trying to rush and make HUGE errors!
I should also add last week we had a issue so we went to switch out a modem that they TOLD US WE COULD...we get there to find out we cannot so they gave us a temp modem and we had no phone till they could come out and service it at the house!
AGAIN for the price I am paying I expect SURPERB service...we are going to have to start looking for new company for all our services which is hard!

This week SUCKED! I only lost .6 of a lb! I knew it wasn't going to be good I walked/jogged the first 3-4 days of the week then Jeff got busy with side work and I wasn't able to get out! I also had some soda my belly wasn't great this week and consumed A LOT of ginger ale!

Just keep swimming....
My Aubrey doodle swims with a life vest AND a tube! I got in the pool with her yesterday and decided enough of this nonsense! So I took her tube off(took me about 5 mins as she death gripped the ladder, death gribbed my bathing suit, and just wanted no part of "swimmin wifout her tuv"!
I would get my hands away from her death grip and walk back a few steps it took her about 3 mins to learn she can keep herself up, to close her mouth and she was a fish and quickly told me she didnt need her "TUV" anymore she was a big girl swimming :)
So now I have Trev that can swim without any assistance and it working on getting his head totally under water! Then I have my Aubrey swimming with just her vest and NO FEAR! I think kids knowing how to swim is such a great thing for them to know as I always had a fear of the water!!

Weekly Weigh in week 10!
Well this week I lost another 2.2 lbs!!! I am now down a total of 15 lbs!! WOO HOO! I am a letter size down for sure and all my workout stuff is nice and comfy and LOOSE! I am ALMOST into a size down pants ALMOST! I think in about 5 more lbs I will be in my OLD pre pregnancy(caseys) pants :)
This week I walked 4 days! I got stuck in the rain one day while pushing casey so I ended up running home and was shocked how easy it felt! So the following day I alternated walking and running and did about 1/2 mile running 1 mile walking which I felt was pretty good!
Eating was pretty good this week I did indulge but used it as my meal :) HOPING next week will be another good number down and be close to the next size down clothes! I need my clothes to fit I have NONE:)

Meal Plan Monday
A way to save money is meal planning for a week, month, half a month...whatever makes your life easier! I prefer to go shopping once a week and get the sale stuff anyways so I just plan for the week :) But normally have an idea for at least a month!
I am trying to use up a lot of what I have and not buy much...My list for the week is Ricotta cheese, Tortilla Chips and Tortillas! Not bad for the week right?
Monday: Baked Ziti with Bread
Tuesday: I have beef stew meat that I need to cook so I will find a recipe :)
Wednesday: Pork Chops with mashed potatoes and a veggie
Thursday: Lasagna
Friday: We will be at a birthday party
Saturday: BBQ chicken and chili fries(this will be my free day lol)
Sunday: TGI Fridays Fajita meal with queso :)
I am sick of most of these meals to be honest but trying to get the pantry down :)

weekly weigh in week 9!
Official weight loss for this week was 1.8 lbs for a grand total now of 12.8! I wasn't feeling the greatest and the weather sucked this week! I only walked 2-3 times but did get my 3 shred video days in! I think walking is the KEY to my losing and the shred tones me up! I am still doing pretty good with eating however every now and then sweets get the best of me! I have noticed if I don't have my snacks upstairs in the kitchen I will take in crap because I am to lazy!
My goals for this week are:
-walking 1.5 miles a day for 4 days
-doing level 1, 2, and 3 of the shred!

-1 cup of coffee

Strawberry picking 2010
We took the kids to our fav farm! Given the price of Strawberries is high more then I would pay in the grocery store, however they are pick your own! The kids really ENJOY going to the farm and picking their own fruit :) 
Casey really enjoyed NUMEROUS attempts at trying to get the strawberries lol
We also visited with the goats and chickens and even saw some teeney tiny babies!
I came home and gave JAM a try! Jeff eats A LOT of this stuff and we spent about 3 dollars per pint of 5 big pint things full of strawberries, 2.28 on 2 pkg of pectin and 3 dollars on the jars! I used up 1 pint, 1 pkg of pectin, and the jars and have 5 plus a little extra jars of JAM! It comes out to about 1.65 a jar!
However now that I have the jar if I just have to buy pectin and fruit and get that much is def A LOT cheaper! I may make some and store it for Christmas....I will go blueberry picking at the end of summer and give blueberry jam a try too! It was A LOT of fun to make it and I plan on making more tomorrow as long as it tastes good :)
I also picked some fresh flowers from my yard! Now I thought I killed my hydrangea and I was so upset about it! However coming home from my walk today I saw a little green and pink and was sooo happy! I LOVE this flower prob my fav and hope I can baby it more and get lots of blooms!

When do you workout?
I am sitting in bed with sweat dripping off me wanting to take a shower badly as the little one just went down for his morning nap and the other two are playing dress up but I cant move! I feel like I am going to throw up! I have battled low blood sugar issues since I was a teen!
I felt like I ate a good breakfast this morning some Raisin Bran with a banana...I did however have coffee and I think that's what threw me over the edge! I only did level 1 of the shred but I feel like level 1 is all about the cardio and jumping around this early in the morning maybe not a good idea!
I know now I will never do a early morning workout again...My work outs seem to be best right after lunch...I have two healthy meals in, some water, maybe even a powerade zero or something like that for energy! I also know I walk best right after dinner...I don't have the kids or dog that I have to stop and tend to every 5 seconds, Jeff is home to watch them, and normally I clear my head before tubbies and bed and can actually SLEEP!

Weekly weigh in week 8!
I am writing this a little early but I know for a FACT that there will be NO weight loss this week and I know why!
I ate "okay" this week I did have a major cookout on Sunday and indulged and then had another bad day Monday as it was my birthday! I pretty much spent the week getting back what I gained! THEN......I started craving chocolate and crying a lot you get the drift so I am bloated, crampy and not impressed AT ALL! But I know I will not have a number loss for this week!
I want to go full force this week working out! I want to work out 3 of the 7 days of the week! I want to walk 4 days of the week! I want ONE day a week of absolutely NO working out at all to give my body a day of rest! I am also bumping my walk up by half a mile :)
My food intake needs to be a little lower I think and my water a little higher! I am doing really good with the snacking, grazing issue and my stomach has shrunk! I walked in pants the other day that I could not even fit into without major muffin top and they were LOOSE!
I will lose this weight! I WILL hit 20 lbs by July 4th! There is no stopping me :) 10.8 lbs to go till July 4th! I really really want to be in a number size smaller by July 4th that would just be amazing!

Toys R Us Christmas savers Club!
I went to Toys R Us today and opened a Christmas Savers Club account...Basically a gift card that you add deposits to up until October 16th! Starting October 31 use it on ALL of your holiday purchases :)
From now until October 16th you can add money to the gift card!
On October 16th Toys R Us will credit your gift card with 3% up to 75.00 of the balance!
You can add to the card now but cannot use it till October 31st!
ALSO use your rewards card when you ADD to the card as well as when you USE the gift card to earn 5 dollar rewards for every 150 spent!
Add 150 to the card earn 5 dollars in rewards as well as 4.50 back on your card!
Then in October SPEND the 150 and earn another 5 dollars in rewards!

I started extreme couponing the summer of 2007 when I was pregnant with my second child and really looking for ways to save money so we could buy our first house! I started with CVS, then learned Walgreens, then really started doing Shaws and Stop and Shop! I got comfortable with each store, its policies, its sales, its employees :)
Over time my children have learned about their crazy mom...Sometimes I stand in a aisle flipping through my coupons, before we leave I almost always have to run downstairs to print coupons, every store we hit I always seem to have a handful of coupons...Its fun for them now...They help me match the coupon with the items, they give cashiers their coupons, and any blinkie they see they run and grab it for me..Kids were easy!
My husband at first thought I was a little crazy but I started showing him what I spent vs what I saved. I then was able to get him lots of really cool stuff to try, test out, etc. He then learned about online coupons as well and now will maximize his savings and rarely purchases anything online without using a cash back site as well as a coupon!
He also loves that this hobby has helped me and our family a lot. I kill my urge to shop without blowing tons of money! Our kids are always dressed in nice name brand clothes that I paid on average 75% off by stocking up on the next size and end of season sales, using coupons, etc Our kids and family have a nice Christmas with nice quality items that I get for 50-75% off by shopping clearance events at Target and KMART, Black Friday, and awesome sales and rebates in the holiday season!
Couponing is a family affair its what saved us during my husbands job loss, its what gives my family amazing holidays, its what stretches my husbands much lower salary and helps us pay bills and have everything that we need! Its now like a job for me and we can go weeks without buying anything household/health and beauty wise! We can spend 20 bucks for the week food shopping and have STOCKED cabinets!
I began blogging as well to share great deals, samples, freebies and funny stories about by every day struggles as a mom, wife, friend, etc Its really taken off I have A LOT of followers both here and facebook and daily get emails asking for help with deals, policies etc! The other day at a friends house she was looking through her coupons and I asked how long she had been doing it...She said the best words ever...Well since I saw all your great deals I had to start! I LOVE hearing that!

I am REALLY trying! I have worked out every day since Tuesday rather it be working on on the shred or walking and really pushing myself walking! It hasn't been that long to plateau i don't think!

Why is a stockpile a good thing to have?!
I have a HUGE stockpile! My husband used to make A LOT more money and I really stocked up I always say well you never know! Well now I do know...We make a lot less and have one more mouth to feed :)
I have been slowly using up my stockpile and only getting more stuff when its FREE or close to it. Well now I want to try and USE my stockpile! I am not going to even stock up anymore!
Household/HBA wise....The only things I am allowing myself to buy are paper towels, diapers, and wipes this month! I am pretty sure we have plenty of everything else that we will need for this month!
I am going to try to make as many dinners as I can out of my stockpile and only buy things that I ABSOLUTE need! This should be interesting but I am going to give it a try!
It will KILL me not to shop but I want my savings account to go up big this month! The holiday season will be upon us before I know it...that means 2 of my 3 need Halloween costumes, tons of farm visits in the fall, a big thanksgiving dinner, and of course Christmas which is only 206 days away!

Sorry this is a little late my husband has been off 3 days in a row and I am all outta whack!
The official total for last week came a day early at 1 pound loss for the week. To be totally honest I was taste testing, getting ready for a BBQ and didn't get to work out much as my ankle had me barely walking!
I took a few days off and actually walked with my ankle today! I had to quit the 30 day shred for a few days as it was the main culprit of my ankle!
I plan to walk and shred every other day to see how my ankle handles that! I have 5 more weigh ins before July 4th of which I need to lose 11 more lbs! That's probably pushing it but I am going to give it my best shot as I did indulge and have a great memorial day weekend!
