Dining room re vamp..
I love candles...I light them all the time if I am home..I love the smell, the ambiance, etc. I saw on a blog(Do not remember please contact me if it was your idea) filling candle holder with stuff to make them look more festive! While getting my table ready for Spring...some cake sprinkles fell into my hands and WAH LAH!
I put them in a holder I found on clearance at Michael's for .49 cents but wasn't loving it...
So I picked up my can of spray paint...
I am not one to love BRIGHT colors like these...But it reminds me of Spring..of Easter...of Tulips blooming outside..I just cant WAIT for Spring!
Oh and ThriftyDecorChick gave me my inspiration for this center piece!!

Yankee Candle
I got the catalog in the mail yesterday! It SHOULD have gone straight to the recycle bin but NOOOO I went and looked at it! There are only a million things I want...like candles first and foremost...
A LOOK BACK....
I was looking through my photobucket account...Its so funny to look back and see old pics..
This was Aubrey's 2nd birthday party...She was being so fresh that day telling Jeff to DOP(Stop) anytime he went near her presents lol
I ALWAYS loved this pic of Trev apple picking..we went early since I was VERY prego with Casey and kept going into labor..I didnt want them to miss out on a family tradition..
Just coloring as I cleaned the playroom
Who says 30 year olds do not grow up!
Over the summer on some of the hottest days while Jeff was unemployed we painted all the trim from BLUE to black..its not what most do but we love it! We also painted the doors red. I got many looks from neighbors seeing some prego chick painting on a ladder..The best part was cooling off in the pool after with the kids!

See what happends when you jump on the bed...She was jumping on a toddler mattress on our floor when she nailed the bottom of the bed.
This is how I remember summer...It seems we did TONS of renovations...Changed the kids rooms around which included fixing walls, repainting, redecorating etc. Painted the exterior trim and doors, decorated the hallway..etc
A failed garden..next year I will plant in boxes, with more sun, etc

HOT HOT HOT in April the water was freezing but the kids had a blast!
THe Easter Egg hunt in town..It was so cold, they limited the amount of eggs kids could get but it was fun I just remember sitting there thinking how are we going to do this next year?!
The grass was still dead..but it was warm enough to be outside

Our annual trip to the aquarium never fails!
Trevs first time going sledding..He loved going down hated climbing back up

I will remember Christmas eve as relaxed and full of trevs trips to my lap top
Then of course blueberry picking...She was our taste tester...We would give her the bucket and turn around and it would be empty again

Letter of the day..
I keep seeing letters placed on shelving in a lot of Pottery Barn catalogs! I love it! I wanted mine to look a little more RUSTIC!
Pottery Barn:

I bought a letter at Michaels and some paint..with crackle!
Painted a layer of brown, then a layer of crackle, then a layer of an off white!
I then sanded the edges to make it a little more "worn"
Some of the crackle
Sprayed it with a few coats of clean gloss and its done..I wish it was more shiny and it was daylight when I took pics....
It will be on a shelf in the dining room when I am all done and will look great if my vision works!

His hair is never not wild..My other two were bald well past 1 year so this baby hair stuff is all new to me :) Lets take a moment and look at those drum stick legs...They are so chubby its funny! Underneath those socks are the cutest little piggies you have ever seen!
Im trying to cherish him. He is my last sad to say and I just cannot imagine him not being my baby...I have a feeling he is going to get away with A LOT!

A little sprucing up..
I have had these candle holders since our wedding...I think I received them at my Bridal shower...I have always liked them but they were kinda BLAH! 
So I went to Home Depot bought some twine..I wanted jute but couldn't find it at Micheal's or Home depot so I bought this stuff..Its okay!
I just ran it around the candle till I had what I wanted gluing little dots here and there to keep it tight...
Then I went downstairs and found some old potpourri and glued those to the front...
Then I put them on my toilet..eh not enough..
put them in a basket..
still wanted more
so I put some balls I had from my dining room apotocary jar..
Changed the apothecary jars around a little and WAH LAH!!
All lit up!
I love it and this project was 2.37! I still have tons of twine left over and TONS of ideas...
I got my inspiration from shanty2chic, 320sycamore, and thriftydecor chick!!

Your gonna miss this....
If you dont like country music my post will make NO sense...But there is a very sweet country song by Trace Adkins called "Your gonna miss this". Most days I hear the song and smile but think nothing of it..Normally my older two are fighting, being fresh or just naughty. Casey is crying and I am in the middle of laundry or cooking or something. But then there are mornings like today...
Casey is passed out on my lap, I am in comfy yoga pants and a hoodie, the kids are playing doctor very well and not fighting, the dog isnt barking, crying or into some sort of trouble...coupons are getting cut, I am browsing blogs and its calm. I will never ever again have a sweet baby small enough to sleep on my lap...I will never ever have 2 kids that can spend 30 minutes giving one another pretend shots!
Im gonna miss this...I am going to want this back. Its hard to realize my baby days will be soon over..Pretty soon the kids will be in school, sports and all kind of activities. I am trying to learn to sit down every once in a while and look at what I DO have instead of focusing on what I dont have.

Dining Room molding
Funds are a little short right now so I don't want to spend a ton of money! However I have been looking at WAY to many home decor blogs and watching WAY to much HGTV so my creative juices are flowing...
When we bought the house I hated it!! Every little inch except for these molding pieces in the dining room...
I LOVED them! However when we were trying to get the house "liveable" I just rushed and painted it all brown..
and it worked but I have always wanted to know what it looked like as it should be..
I cleaned the walls...They all need a major touch up...This is the room where the dog sleeps and I think he is just ruining my walls.
BEFORE:
I had my project manager watching my every move...
someone else wanted to help me...
...yea not so much
Anyways...some tape....
2 coats of primer
...2 coats of Glossy white paint and then some touch ups
, that still arent perfect WAH LAH!
I really really really HATE painting trim work. I have A LOT more of these to paint...Trying to decide if its REALLY worth it...I know it looks amazing but ugh this job sucks
