Pottery Barn knockoff
Homebody is having a Pottery Barn knock off party! I love Pottery Barn however I could not imagine paying what they ask of their beautiful items when most can make them!! I have made a chalk board, bookshelves for the kids here and here, and have plenty more ideas to come just from flipping though the catalog :) It amazes me with a little time, tools, and paint what you can do and how similar it can look!

I totally love your shelves...I have wanted those for years for my boys, but I'm not much of a woodworker. They look great!

I, too, am in love with the shelves. In one catalog they showed them (in red, my fave) on the wall with bunk beds - one on the bottom bunk wall, and one for the top. My boys have bunk beds and I would LOVE to make them. But, alas, I had the boys do everything for me in shop class so I can barely drive a nail. I'm totally impressed!
