5 years ago today I looked like this..
So young and had no idea what I was in for!!! Around 5 o'clock I was blessed with this not so little 8 pounds baby boy!!
Since then he grew from being the happiest baby ever alive, so a very lovable toddler
to now a very smart mouth pre-schooler!!
I cannot beleive that he is 5 years old!! He is already learning to write!! He is no longer a baby or little toddler anymore. He is a kid!! Next fall he will enter Kindergarten it just amazes me each day how much bigger, smarter and less of MY baby he is becoming. He is definatly my emotional child. I am just VERY thankful for him. Before him I was very selfish, careless and was bound for trouble. He changed my world. He probably isnt to happy about the other 2 beings that changed my world as well...But one day they will all appreciate the fact that they have one another lol...Just a very happy birthday to Trev!!
**On a bargain note I am taking him to Toys R Us where I have 15 dollars in Rewards R Us cash mixed with the awesome leapster deal I will let him pick two leapster games, then to the 99's or Papa Ginos(where we have gift cards) for dinner...Poor kid has such a cheap momma

One of many New Years Resolutions...
One of my New Years resolutions is USE my stockpile. I have a VERY BIG stockpile and in this time of need until Jeff can get a job closer to making what he was we need to cut back, cut out, and make better decisions...

Christmas was beautiful
If I got paid a dollar everytime I mentioned Christmas on this blog I would be rich!! Anyways it has come and gone..The house is almost cleared of all the Christmas decor. I am taking it down by room and boxing it up that way so its a lot easier to put out next year! I have a crib full of unopened toys that will stay pretty full over the next few months! I figure let it last...dont open all toys at once and have them all fall to the bottom of the toy bins!
We spent last weekend with my cousins exchanging gifts, conversing and eating. It was a lot of fun and the kids walked away with some warm clothes and cool toys!!
Then last week we spent all week at home getting ready for Santa!!
Christmas Eve we tracked Santa on NORAD...Trev was hooked to my lap top wanting to know where he was every second...
Then we made cookies for Santa..they did not look the best but Santa told me they tasted GREAT!!
We exchanged gifts with my mom and brother Chrismtas eve night where the kids got tons of goodies some of their favs...Tickle Hands which Aubrey thinks are boxing gloves, a box of princess shoes because not only does she think she is a boxer but a princess as well. She also got a tea set like the one in Beauty and the Beast and all day I hear DINNERS READY and I get a cup of tea :) Trev got a TON of Spongebob stuff which I see him playing with more important I hear his voice even louder through a microphone. He was given tons of DVD's which he has been glued to but its helping me keep the house clean and getting in back in NON Christmas order...
The kids went to bed pretty easy CHristmas EVE trev was rushing around helping us get everything put into their rooms so he could get to bed for Santa...
Then Santa CAME!!!! Yes Santa comes big here :)
We spent the morning exhangcing gifts in our jammies and cleaning up as we went...I made breakfast for everyone and we opneed a few gifts including the Leapster 2 Santa brought which has had Trevs full attention since we got it everyone is getting pictures drawn of themelves :) Aubrey also is now a full fledge princess as she tells me all day with a pack pack(purse)
We then went to my inlaws for LUNCH and exhanged even MORE gifts there.....I came home and instantl started taking down the decor and tree...My house was a cluttered mess and I hate that more then anything..I still need another day or 2 and my house will be back to "normal" But the kids are having fun and enjoying all the new stuff.
This was a great Chrismtas, no fighting, attitudes or yelling. Everyone got along, everyone helped me clean up and the kids were very greatful and excited with all that they got!!

Christmas Candy
I try and make holiday candy and fudge for my family and friends. We decided to not exchange gifts years ago and this just is a little something special we all can enjoy plus if you know me you know I LOVE being in the kitchen!!
I plan on trying to make 2 a day till Saturday so I can give MY family and Jeff's co-workers something nice for the holidays.
Peppermint Bark...I am a EH fan of Peppermint a EH fan of White Choc but a MAJOR fan of Peppermint Bark!!
2 lbs of White Chocolate
1 box of Candy canes(smashed)
Double Broil the Chocolate
Add the smashed candy canes
put of a wax or parchement covered cookie sheet(I used foil and it worked fine)
refridgerate for 45 mins
Smash like you would peanut brittle
Put back in the fridge till ready to give out or serve :)

Winter is coming...So is Santa
I dread the winter...I hate the kids being stuck inside. I have shoveling and plowing! I hate bundling the kids up to go anywhere..I just hate it..Why do I live in New England again?!

Then we decided to write our letter to Santa using the magaical pen...Found at Hallmark VERY cute and allows you to keep all the letters. Trev is learning all of his letters and he wrote the whole thing and knew how to write MOST letters..I had to spell it out of course!!
And finally Casey...Well just because he is so handsome...

Dear Santa...
I know Christmas is about the birth of Jesus...I also know in this house its about SANTA!! He has been watching and checking his list...The kids will have a very good Christmas all things considering this past year..However I never really get anything..My mom spoils me and she is the only one that does. Jeff took Trev and Aubrey shopping around Target a few weeks ago and let them pick me out something which I am DYING to know..Aubreys not so much because she is clueless but Jeff said Trev had a idea and he let him run with it...I have no idea what else I want....Im making a list..a very lame one but hey its a list...
A waffle maker...any will do I am just sick and tired of french toast and eggs for breakfast!!

A cookie press I have ALWAYS wanted one but never get it..

Meal plan Monday..
I have not done this in a while..But my fridge and cupboards are full and I need to make my meal plan anyways...I WILL NOT need to go to the grocery store this week at all!!
Monday: Meat loaf with a Knoor side and Corn
Tuesday: Cheeseburgers and Fries
Wednesday: Stuffed Chicken with a veggie
Thursday: Sausage with peppers and onions
Friday: Grilled Chicken with Knoor Sides and a veggie
Saturday: LEFT OVERS from the week
Sunday: Steak, Mashed Potatos and a veggie
Seems like a great meal plan although i am getting sick of most of the items on my meal plan!!

Very productive...
This weekend was Trev's 5th birthday party. We decided to do desserts and snacks only which was A LOT cheaper however it was a lot more work!! It was fun however my house was torn to shreds...It still isnt 100% but the upstairs and done and I will work on downstairs and laundry tomorrow :) I also managed to get my coupon deals done for the week as well as my grocery shopping..I made a big Sunday dinner and now want to pass out...20 more minutes to bed time

Also Bounty paper towels are 9.99 each wyb 2 you get a 5.00 gift card!!
I bought 2 used 2 1.00 off coupons as well as 2 .50 Target coupons....I paid 16.98 and earned a 5 dollar gift card
Diapers are pretty cheap too..Huggies and Pampers are 8.99 each mix with coupons good deals!!

MY tree
I have our tree downstairs in the playroom..its fake, no theme, no rhyme or reason at all to the tree. The kids get to decorate it and have fun...This is the tree that allows me to be the fun mom...
Then there is MY tree..The tree that I and ONLY I decorate. The tree is BEAUTIFUL!! All the ornaments are red, white, silver...I also string ribbon down it and put a MILLION strands of lights...I even match my wrapping paper to the tree. YES I am THAT OCD!! Its so beautiful though...Do not mind the floating ribbon our Elf has returned from the North Pole and was hanging from it when I took this pic..This is when I am the MEAN mom...
