My super star

He is getting 10 times better with soccer..He has always had the "skill", well as much SKILL as you can have as a 4.5 year old soccer player. But he needed to learn the aspect of TEAM and as long as someone on my team has the ball and is going in the right direction that is okay!

He did AWESOME on Saturday we were both so happy! Also Jeff is going again this coming Saturday. Which he keeps saying he is happy for.

Our main goals are to make sure he is listening to his coach, not horsing around on the field, staying on the field, and no hands!!

I have 7 days to get my shit together :) Casey will be here before if I go on my own or on Oct 1st!! After being in Labor and Delivery AGAIN last night the docs think it is best to take him early. He will be 38 weeks and 2 days but should be healthy!! I have a lot I want to get done...Keep the laundry and dished caught up, get max moved downstairs, and get the fridge well stocked! My mom decided that she will stay here which I think is such a GREAT decision. The kids will be in their own environment, they will be able to go to bed THEIR way and at the right time. She will probably be a little uncomfortable being here but I think after last night she realized they NEED their beds and routines :) I owe her big time!!

Cranky

When Jeff gets up for work it seems he has been waking either me or Aubrey up. This morning it was both. SO I got up picked up the house and pissed around. I NEED sleep!! Even though we went to bed and watched a movie last night so we were asleep by 11 or so but I just NEED the alarm to read 8 before I can wake up :)

So I am cleaning and putting away laundry and Aubrey is whining because I do not want to just sit with her and watch Elmo! Jeff's cat Keisha comes upstairs meowing and so Aubrey hops down TITTY MONNNNNN FESHA MONNNNNN Titty BALL? She speaks VERY well but just her versions of some words make you laugh when you want to be cranky and crabby all morning!

A LOT of stores sell reusable shopping bags...Now A LOT of stores are offering discounts if you use your shopping bags. For instance I know Stop and Shop are offering .05 PER bag you use. Im thinking on average a week I could probably use 4 bags if not more! That would be a savings of 10.40 a year!!

Now you say that doesn't add up to much but my bank has a GREEN program where you earn .10 cents each time you use your card as a debit! You can earn up to 110 a year. You bet I am enrolled.

I also do ALL laundry and running of my dishwasher on the off peak times which are before 10 a.m. after 9 p.m. week days. Then weekends are OFF peak as well!!

As soon as all my stockpiled laundry detergent, household cleaners etc is done I plan on making my own with Borax, washing soda, vinegar, water, hand soap..You can find recipes EVERYWHERE!!

A new leaf...

Trev is no longer a baby...I am getting rid of all his toddler/pre-school age stuff. He is of age where all he wants to do is learn..rather that be listening to my phone conversations, doing projects, or watching the news lol.

He started soccer this weekend and it was weird going to games and what not. I know soon all 3 will be in some sport, school function or whatever. It just seems our calender is filling up quickly!!

He did pretty good in soccer..I see the skill potential in him for sure. However he hasn't grasped the whole team concept yet but that will take work on both our part and the coaches part. He just wants to make all the goals and wants to take the ball from his team mates. I think over time he will grasp this. I also gave him old shoes that were to small and kept coming un done. So after much thought and I didnt want to spend the money but we bought him some soccer cleats. I will see if he does better next game.

Apple picking 09

WE did our annual trip to the farm today. I was going to go tomorrow but I think its going to be so busy and they were offering the hay rides today so I figured why not. Jeff is not to happy how bumpy the ride was since I have been contracting since but I think I will be fine. We got some good apples. We will get more come pumpkin time :) It was just sad to think this will be the last time we are a family of 4 at the farm most likely.

I feel very blessed. After 3 months EXACTLY of being jobless Jeff went on 4 interviews had 2 offers and we are accepting one!! Its not the amount of pay we made at our other job, however benefits are cheaper, and there is overhead not just a small privately owned shop! We may have to cut back on some stuff, Christmas wont be as carnival like, birthday parties will be cake and ice cream not all kinds of food, clothes will be all Old Navy and Target. We can make it work. Its better then unemployment and worrying each week!

September Goals...

My September goals are VERY simple!!

**As of September 22nd I am considered TERM in my pregnancy. That means I need to keep this baby in my belly until then or a lot longer if I have it my way :)

**My bags are packed for the hospital as well as Casey's coming home outfit. I still need to pack my kids bags, toys, and food for their sleepover with my mom while I am in the hospital!

**Keep my house as clean as I can, as well as keeping up with laundry, the yard etc until he makes his arrival. There is a very good chance he could be here before months end and I don't want to come home to chaos!

**NO fun money...For entertainment this month I have decided our Saturday Soccer(Trev starts soon) will be plenty. ONE weekend day this month I plan on taking the kids apple picking with the hay ride, hay farm maze etc.

**Prepare a weeks worth of frozen meals while I am in the hospital!! I have never done this however I need to have dinner for the kids and WILL NOT be cooking the week I get home from the hospital.

**Stick to our budget...I am allowing 400 for household, food, clothing, bargain hunting etc.

**get the kids back on schedule..this means naps, bedtime at 8 and 9!

I am hoping for a calm month. I am a little worried about weekends being shot with soccer in the middle of the days on Saturday but I think it will be good. We can do soccer come home nap, rake leaves etc.

Two years ago today we were blessed with a little "princess"Trev wasnt very impressed however he posed for one pic.....Last year she was finally becoming a little less demanding and very cuteand now that your 2 your just plain evil!! I look forward to this next year with you as the last 2 have seen to FLY by!
