Yet another product I LOVE!! I forever went to JC Penney or my salon and waxed my eyebrows and lip. On average this was 15 dollars an area! I went at least once a month! That averages out to 360 dollars a year. After speaking with a friend she told me about this kit she uses. You just heat it up in the microwave for about a minute and WAH-LAH!! I love it. It doesn't get very hot at all and does the job. It costs about 17 dollars at Sally's Beauty Supply and would last you OVER a year! IF you need to buy more strips go to the fabric store and buy some fabric which is .50 cents to get you through a whole year. I also feel like I do it a lot more and keep myself VERY maintained. Its amazing what a little waxing can do to someones self esteem really makes me feel womanly! Also I save 340 dollars a year!!!

Birthdays....

I just went and wrapped up the rest of Aubrey's presents..She will get a few from us at her party then the majority at her actual birthday when we got o Chuck E Cheese. Its a tradition we started with Trev and just have done with every kid.

Crayola Color Wonder

I am really good about letting everyone know everything I hate now a turn to let everyone know about what I LOVE! Over the next few weeks be prepared to hear a lot of these little posts :) Crayola Color Wonder products are awesome for the OCD mom in you. I hated letting my kids have colors, markers, paints etc because they were so messy! The Crayola Color wonder kits have almost an invisible ink that ONLY works on the Crayola Color Wonder paper! They can get it all over themselves, the floor, my walls and I would never know! Sometimes there is a small delay from marker to paper but the kids never seem to notice! I let Aubrey have one today and when I handed her a box of markers she was so unsure..Like wow has she lost it she is giving me free reign on markers :)

They vary in price from around 10-20 bucks however buy them at Michael's and use one of their coupons and you can get them 40-50% off! I have a very hard time getting Aubrey to play with toys or watch tv or do anything alone and she actually colored for about 10 minutes today before I had to come and sit with her while she colored. This product gets a *****(5 star) from me!

Crafting..

I spent probably 50 bucks on Aubrey's name I have in letters in her room. I decided to attempt to do it myself this baby. Using the same paint we had, I bought 2 letters and a thing of ribbon used two coupons and spent about 5 bucks! I think it came out VERY cute!! I am not crafty AT ALL!

On another note I cried and cried and still am stupid hormones about Aubrey's party..it will most likely rain(40%) everywhere is saying chance of showers! Do I set up inside, outside? This sucks! One year can I have nice weather!! I want to just call it off!

So I have been stalking weather.com the past few days on account on Aubrey's birthday party this weekend..It keeps going back and forth between rain and sun. I don't care about the temps kids will swim in whatever weather..at least in New England..Just PLEASE don't rain! I do not want 35 people in my house. None the less we planned a nice fun day of pool fun, slip and slide, cook outs and the bean bag game for adults!

I feel so bad for baby Casey...It seems as if no one cares about his arrival! No one cares about any details about him. No one has bought him anything..By now we had calls daily, oodles and oodles of goodies and constant questions!

Everyone hates his name and I find it funny..We get OO Casey?! People just ignore it too. A MAJOR reason we chose Casey was because the negativity we received from everyone :)

Not many people support my breastfeeding. I think people on one side of our family think its very gross and rude! But the way I see it is its what is best for him, its free, its VERY good for his well being!

I just feel so badly for this baby because even I have had doubts about how we were going to fit him into our daily routine, how the kids were going to react to him and how I am going to manage taking care of the three of them.

I HATE myself in pics

Last July I looked like this.... Which prompted me to lose 27 pounds and I ended up looking like this...

My weight loss really shows in these pics I think..

I've gained around 20 lbs this pregnancy and I look so awful..I really hate it!

From THIS point I am at I want to lose around 40 lbs! I would like to feel good about myself. I was really starting to feel like I looked decent..not great but decent. Once the baby comes it will start to get really cold! I am still going to try to walk as often as I can. I also want to buy the 30 day shred and do that Monday-Friday. I've heard AWESOME stories about that DVD. I wont be able to really diet all that well as I have to eat 1800-2200 calories a day depending on my milk supply!

I just cannot wait to be DONE having babies and lose this weight and feel good about myself. Yes its pity me lately around here!

Nesting?

I cannot stop cleaning, organizing etc. I am going nuts! Just a little FYI lol...Kids rooms, closets, our room and closet all organized...Bathrooms are stocked up full of samples and extras we had lying around. Halloween and Fall decor has been sorted through..Adult Christmas shopping is ALMOST DONE! I also went through ALL the kids toys and threw out broken, old, neglected toys and gave good ones we dont play with to good will!! All I have left to do is a load of baby wash, move up Caseys crib mattress, move up all the gear to the living room/our room, and sort through Holiday boxes.

I wanted to add Noggin and Sprout to our cable package..I think these are GREAT channels for kids and I do not like the "attitude" I get from Trev with hints of Hannah Montana, ICarly etc. So I told him he is allowed to watch 1 hour of that crap a day the rest has to be Noggin or Sprout!

It took them over an hour to FIND the freakin channels I wanted. They also had no clue what I was talking about. I was pissed so I walked away with all the channels I wanted PLUS more! For my trouble we have FREE HBO for a YEAR!

Do you ever feel like giving up?

I have always suffered minor depression here and there..When life gets tough, After I have my kids etc. These past few months since Jeff lost his job have just been terrible for me.

I really should look at the fact that we have so far been able to keep our home, my husband has finished MY to do list on the house and we have completed a lot of little tasks that would have never been done if he had still been working. My husband is happier, he was getting really frustrated at his job and last winter it was VERY worrisome how slow work got! We are doing okay..not great buy okay $$ wise!

All I can seem to focus on is our income was cut IN HALF! I live in fear every day of getting behind again to the point we cannot get back up. When I get depressed I spend money that we should not be spending! This month has been hard preparing for Aubrey's birthday, getting the kids all set for fall/winter etc.

I am going to try for the next few weeks to have a NEW outlook on life. NO MORE FASTFOOD(Mainly Dunkin Donuts). When we need to stop for fast food it will be if we take a day trip to Jeff's parents or the zoo or what not. ENJOY being home..We have a huge yard, a pool, tons of toys and arts and crafts! Just pay bills, buy food and keep the extra shopping to what we NEED not just because its FREE! We have a decent stockpile and I want to live off of it the remainder of the month!

I gotta get through this rut before Casey comes because I DO NOT want PPD again! That was such a deep dark path and I just cannot go back there after I have him...Lets face it he can be here within the next month or two...I have 62 days till I am due!

A clean home...

IS A HAPPY HOME! If you know me you know nothing makes me happier then a clean house. I clean pretty much daily and my house I try to keep as clutter free and show room presentable as possible!!

I do love Yankee Candle and the holidays. We cannot do a lot for our kids but I make sure the house is always festive around the holidays and for their birthdays!

My GOALS for this month:

Stick to budget...I have house, electric, comcast, ATT, AAA, Gas, Household/Beauty, Food, Clothing, Home Depot...NO ENTERTAINMENT!!

****We have gone over our clothing budget however the kids and I are all set for fall and winter with the exception of the kids needing winter boots, hats and gloves! They also both need a package of socks as well as Jeff. I intend on hitting up Kohl s this week for all of these.****

If we make extra money this month after unemployment and resales etc then we can use that as entertainment..However we have a pretty busy month! My brothers birthday party is today, Birthday party for Aubrey's BFF the 15th and Aubrey's party the 29th!

NO TOY buying, No GIFT buying until I go through my closet again and see what was added this month and start assigning gifts to people for Christmas so I know what I need to buy and how much I need to remove from my HOLIDAY account!

**I bought a few toys and returned them GO ME! We didn't need them and it just wasnt worth finding space for them. I also went through my adult bins and we have a lot of people DONE or close to it for Christmas :) I will continue to work on this this week until I see who we have for and who we do not.**

How do you Grocery Shop?!

I was thinking back when we used to spend 100-120 a week every Friday on food and household items for the home! On the way to the grocery store we would eat out at a restaurant! We would also eat out once more a week. I would ALWAYS stop to get coffees and drinks. Trev and I would eat lunch at the mall at least once a week.

I now have a HUGE stockpile...I shop for the MONTH one time a month. I usually still go out once a week however I go to the stores that have the deals that I can maximize my savings with a coupon or two as well. We now spend about 300 dollars a month on food/household, have a fast food trip a month, and a restaurant trip a month!

I buy lots of fresh produce, deli meats and cheese, meat, dairy, but rarely do I buy things like canned ravioli, Hamburger Helper etc. All the things that "couponers" are black labeled for.

I see so many people around me that scoff and make fun of my stockpile and I just do not get it. How can you afford to eat out all the time, does name brand REALLY taste that different, WHY don't you meal plan?, Just use coupons for the stuff you buy at least!

I also made sure when I was at the coupons section I grabbed the Pampers Diapers that allowed for a FREE wipe tub!

My total was 16.98! It did take a little time between the coupons section, making sure I had all the right products and all discounts were applied but it was worth it!

YAY!!

Jeff will be out of the house Wednesday-Friday most likely! That means a little extra cash and I will have some alone time!

When he is home its harder to keep up with laundry, cleaning, etc. He just wants to be outside, etc...

For instance this morning I told him I WOULD NOT let the house go because I had to spend a few hours Saturday cleaning..So I spent about a hour cleaning, folding laundry, etc.

I then had the kids out in the pool for a hour before lunch...put them down as I floated around the pool :) Then when they woke up back outside to weed the beds and let them run around till dinner time...

They still get outside, we all don't get sun damage and the house is clean, dinner is made and I am a happy momma!

Some good news

We found out we are on a waiting list for our electric! Our whole house is electric...Summer time its normally 175, spring and fall its 150-300 and winter 500-600!! Yes you read that right! We qualify for a 48% savings monthly as well as a 975 dollar voucher! It will really really help this winter...

Ways we have cut our electric use since last year:

Wash/Dry Laundry off peak times(weekends, before 10 a.m. and after 9 p.m. weekdays)

Use A/C at nights or when company is over(again normally off peak)

Open windows for sun light

Turn water heater down


I also managed to pull of Aubrey's winter/fall clothes down(doing this in October would be a joke with the baby here) It looks as if she will need 2 hoodies, winter hat or 2 and a package of socks for clothes/shoes!! I am very thrilled! I may get her a winter dress or two just not sure yet. I do not think Trev's list will be this short!

I always make a plan...NEVER keep up with it!

My GOALS for this month:

Stick to budget...I have house, electric, comcast, ATT, AAA, Gas, Household/Beauty, Food, Clothing, Home Depot...NO ENTERTAINMENT!!

If we make extra money this month after unemployment and resales etc then we can use that as entertainment..However we have a pretty busy month! My brothers birthday party is today, Birthday party for Aubrey's BFF the 15th and Aubrey's party the 29th!

NO TOY buying, No GIFT buying until I go through my closet again and see what was added this month and start assigning gifts to people for Christmas so I know what I need to buy and how much I need to remove from my HOLIDAY account!

Paint the bathroom door(inside), Paint the remaining side of the house BLACK, DUMP the sand box out(sand is soaking wet and wont dry out)

Go through the kids dressers, downstairs new clothes and take inventory to know what I will need to buy for fall/winter
