This baby was a total shock to us. We went back and forth but Jeff was 100% sure he wanted another and I wanted to wait another year or so to see how Aubrey did. It took us over a year to get Aubrey so I didn't think anything could happen but we weren't NOT preventing it!
Sad to say I haven't been as happy as I was with my other kids. I have tried to force myself to look at baby stuff, look at names etc and get excited. Normally the day I find out I'm prego I am out looking at baby stuff, in maternity clothes etc.
I am hoping I will get more into it and very excited as I start feeling better. I am in such shock, freaking out about finances, a new vehicle, preparing Aubrey for a brother or sister. Not to mention I didn't want two 2 years apart. I hope I snap out of this. I am thinking hearing the heart beat or seeing the baby in a ultrasound will do the trick.

I need a nap!
I went to the mall to Target and Gymboree, Babies R Us and Market basket and I need a nap. I was on the verge of getting sick the whole day. However I wanted to get some razors and a dust pan at Target, see what I could use my 20% off coupon and 10 dollar gift card for at Gymboree, BRU I had a return, and I needed food. I ended up buying the baby a hat, 3 pairs of socks, a Christmas outfit and a shirt and pant I spent less then 10 dollars. I did spend a lot at the grocery store however I needed quick meals for me and tons of fresh produce! Kids just went down and now I will be taking a NICE LONG nap with them!!

Ugh
I still feel like shit...Yes like the worlds worst piece of crap. My morning sickness comes and goes. The meds work great some days some days not so much. The meds make me so very tired when I am exhausted as is. I cannot wait to get into the second trimester and be able to go out and keep my house clean. My house is such a mess and disorganized so not me!! I really want this crap to end. I cannot take much more. This pregnancy came as a shock to me and its not making me accept it any better feeling like crap all the time!

nurses visit
I had my nurse visit today it went well. My blood pressure was good my positive popped up before the control like on my tests. We went over all the paper work and tests and stuff and walked out with a library full of books it seems. I also did my blood work. I go next week for my first visit of which I will get an exam, some tests and schedule my ultrasound to get my actual EDD as for now it is October 7th!

meds are working...
I broke down Friday and called my OB. I explained how I am in bed all day every day and cant even play with my kids. They aren't reacting well to it at all. So they agreed to prescribe me some motion sickness med. OMG its like heaven in a pill within a hour the sickness goes away. It makes me even more tired then before but whatever. I cannot handle being that ill. I tried to be brave and go to the grocery store very weak and leaning on my carriage...walked in smelled the food and saw it and instantly gagged. The fastest and most excruciating shopping trip of my life.

Good News
Looking back at our insurance during my pregnancy and delivery with my baby girl I had to pay 2700 oop...It was the maximum you could pay between me going into labor early and all the extra tests I had to pay ALL of it!! I looked at Jeff's new insurance yesterday while laying in bed miserable and his new insurance covers EVERYTHING!! I will have to pay a co-pay for my 6 week visit. Do you even know how thrilled I am. That was a major stress factor. I also found out my friend has a bassinet she is going to let me use the only big thing I will need is a infant car seat! A lot of stress is lifted off my shoulders!
Jeff's grandmother passed away yesterday. He wasn't close with her at all and was going to attend her funeral for his mother but she isn't even going so looks like he will be ALL mine this weekend and I can lay in bed and not get sick at all :)

awful
I feel just awful! I have to take my time getting out of bed in the morning..change diaper and give the kids some sort of very unhealthy breakfast. Back to bed...I get up to make lunch again and put the kids down for naps. I get up basically to feed them and change the princess diapers. I get sick a few times a day and normally by 2 or 3 I am feeling very weak but okay. I have lost about 3 pounds already. I did the same with the princess I will make up for it believe me. Thank god for my friend coming to get the prince taking him to school and picking him up for me. He wouldn't get to go to school because I cannot even move without getting sick. This is just plain awful. I cant stand the thought of 5-6 more weeks of this!!

Guess What?
The shock of my life came Friday. I was feeling very sick. A friend of mine said take a test. I took it and low and behold I am pregnant...I took 3 more tests to verify! I am very very sick. Basically I have laid in bed, hung over the toilet or slept since Friday. We thought since it took us over a year to get my princess to start trying a few months back...Well a big slap in my face. I am very nervous! I don't feel ready and I don't think that the kids are ready. I am no excited yet I think once all the sickness goes away in a month or so I will get excited. It looks like I will be due the first week of October! I am still very early and shouldn't be telling anyone but what is the harm of telling perfect strangers!!

Valentimes
The prince had his "Valentimes" party today at school. He wrote me a letter stating that he loved people. Mommy loves me, Daddy loves me, Max loves me and Keisha the cat he loves a lot! He also drew a picture of me and then a cave over me. I don't know why I am in a cave but whatever!
He also gave out his Valentines and received a ton including two huge gift bags :) He was very excited and told me he had a cupcake and juice. He doesn't really understand Valentines Day yet but he will get it soon. He loves his parties at school :) Plus he calls it Valentimes Day which is very cute.

Aquarium!
I finally got the pics up from Sunday. The kids had so much fun even though my princess was wicked sick...
Outdoor fun...
I know it will not be play outside weather for at least another month and a half to two months but I would like for the kids to have some outdoor stuff this year. We spent a lot of time last summer getting the yard "safe" for them. It is now with the exception of the snakes!
We have a log cabin house, a sand box, and a picnic table out there for them. I would like some sort of slide or swing set but I dont think we have enough room since we are putting the huge pool back there. I was thinking of a basketball hoop...

Organic and GREEN the new black...
I am making mini goals for the year...I would LOVE to be more green and eat more organic.
We are in the process of looking for an Organic Farm to purchase our meat in bulk from. Basically you buy a whole, half, quarter of a cow...Tell them the cuts you want and pay for it. Its normally cheaper then buying from the supermarket, more fresh and delicious!
I have been doing okay with recycling paper but I am making my Feb 09 GREEN goal to recycle ALL paper that I can. I have a bucket outside of the porch. I figure little steps and by summer I will be a recycling maniac! It will also cut down the trips to the dump!
My ORGANIC goal is to buy ONLY Organic Milk and Eggs for us. It will be a lot more expensive but I know I can do it. I figure if I go little at a time it wont be such a hard hit to our budget!

My left foot
is killing me. I have no idea what I did to it. I went to stand up and as soon as my heel touched the ground it sent a sharp pain up. It feels like there is a rubber band on the outside of my foot ankle and anytime I put my foot flat stretching out the rubber band it kills. I have no idea what I did sitting down. When I put shoes on to take the prince to school it didn't hurt as bad but I am walking around with one foot as a tippy toe. Hopefully it gets better soon. I haven't been to the doctor in years! Besides my OB of course.

ALL sweat equity. We did not pay one person to come into this house. We had a few family members help us out in return Jeff worked on their cars for them!

I have my interview today and I don't want to go!
My poor princess has a horrible cough, high fever, broken blood vessels in her eyes, and tearing eyes. I feel so awful for her. She is actually eating and drinking today and we are pumping her full of Tylenol and Motrin! She is in a little better mood but still not herself and very snuggly! Pray she gets better soon!

My husband...
is not perfect in any means but we work well together.
We have had a tough year between having our princess, buying a house, fixing a house, and the rough economy.
We started speaking to one another very badly and just lost all the love and friendship that we first had in our relationship.
We both had enough and decided change or divorce...
We both have been working so hard, he is seeing a counselor and working out his problems with her and also on meds which have changed him in A MILLION different good ways. He has learned to not bring work home. Leave it there. He has been really trying with our kids. His patience seems to be a lot better and he goes out of his way to tell me he loves me, I look good, awesome job with the kids and the best of all "can i help with anything".
I will probably start seeing this counselor too I think it would be a good idea as I am not perfect WHO is?! Our relationship reminds me a lot of Jon and Kate Gosselin. I love that show(yes probably the only one). But they are real. They snap at one another, when they get mad they do little jabs at one another, they fight in front of the kids. They make us feel normal like we aren't the only ones. But they also love the shit out of one another and just get lost in the chaos of family and kids!
I just needed to get it out and seriously counseling works. Jeff fought it for a long time but realizes now he NEEDS it. I don't think he will ever stop!

The appraisial
He came and went...He was here for 45 mins...Took tons of pics! He said I wont know till Monday possibly Friday! He is swamped I guess :( I will be DYING in anticipation!
3 hours...
I spent 3 hours last night cleaning, organizing and filing!
We NEED this house to appraise over 193!! If not every upgrade we did we didn't make a single penny on it. Yes I do realize that when we put a new roof on, new siding, and finish landscaping our home will be worth more. I also know that when the economy boosts back up we will gain a lot of equity. I just want the satisfaction of knowing we didnt make stupid upgrades...
I would be happy at 200k! I will be shocked if its worth that but we shall see.
I still see it as the house that gave my marriage a rocky road. The house that made my husband miss seeing his daughter grow from a infant blob to a cute little toddler, the house that made me so freakin' poor! The house that changed my husband into an over obsessive control freak that cannot sit down and ENJOY living in a house. He has to constantly be working, fixing and perfecting it. This house is still not "home" to me. Nor will it be till he can learn to enjoy it with the kids.
Ugh sorry for the mini vent people that know me know my feelings on the house now total strangers know it too! Do not get me wrong my house is very nice and I would have never dreamed of having a nice home like this, but it came at a price. I didn't see my husband for a few months and he still isn't here a lot...Well he is physically here but his mind is always thinking...tub caulking, painting, roofing etc.

The past 24 hours...
Job Interview(HR lady was an hour late!!)
Get home(the princess cries pretty much till she goes to bed at 8)
9 go get the princess out of bed since she is crying lay in bed for an hour with her pointing my nose, eyes and teeth)
10 Jeff puts the princess to bed and the prince goes to bed crying because his smart mouth was a little to fresh one to many times today
FINALLY get to sleep around 11!
Wake up late..SHIT I have to take a shower...It was about 8:10 and we have to leave by 8:40!
Wake the prince up at 8:20 ask him if he wants to go to school he says yes so I lay out his clothes
About every minute from 8:21-8:45 I spend yelling, telling and threatening him to get dress or he wont be going to school...
Get myself semi presentable, make breakfast to go(cereal, grapes and blueberries in bags with juice cups)
Get the truck loaded up, wake up the princess and get her dressed letting her know if she needs snuggle time with me at 10 at night is not an okay time to ask for it!
BOTH kids are dressed walk downstairs to get them in the truck when the prince points out water is coming from my seat...NOOOOOO my fucking coffee cup broke and spilled out the last of my coffee! I cry because I don't have my debit card to stop and grab one, I used the last of my iced coffee and do not have time to brew another cup!
This morning just sucked..I also realized i have a major coffee addiction.

Aquarium!
We are going Sunday :) It will save us sooo much money. Though the library it is 7 per person...THe princess is free! We will be saving 30 dollars! I have to drive in which I hate...We also WONT park at the garage there they charged us 40 bucks last time for a few hours. I also will pack TONS of snacks and we can eat after we leave or before we go! It will be the princess first time last time we went she was in my belly :) I cannot wait! The weather looks like it will be nice and sunny. I cannot wait :) Can you tell I am excited lol

Yay! and YAY!
I had my interview today and actually did my second interview as well. I have one more interview on Monday and they said all my work references raved about me. I nailed it I think!! I hope!! I cannot wait to figure out if I got it, the pay etc :)
I also got a call from the appraiser he will be out here on Wednesday! YAY! Lets get this ball rolling :)
If all goes though with the job, and re-finance our payment will go up 100-150 dollars a month, we will free up TONS of money and actually save over 1000--1500 a month!
If this all works out my goals will be..
New roof
Remove 3 season porch and make it a deck
Save 3 months expenses
Start saving for Disney in 2010 when the kids are 3 and 5!

I in no way want to get dressed for this interview! I have to leave by 2 I will start getting ready around 11 since I know just how long I will drag my ass for :)
My friend K is going to come over and watch the kids because I asked my friend B and she was all excited to but we just don't have the money in our gas budget this week to drive back and forth that way 2 times :( I owe K BIG time...She always is helping me out with the kiddos.
Finances STILL suck! We have X days to get this done so that life will be A LOT easier on us. Pray for us. We need it right now...
Spent 3 hours last night at the ER...My mom the woman with the world's DULLEST knives(probably couldn't cut a tomato) sliced her finger open and needed to get 4 stitches. It was fun...My brother and I made fun of her the whole 3 hours we spent in the waiting room...He did take me to Starbucks and get me a cheap coffee(works there)...We had fun hanging out and talking he is 6 years younger then me and always had to live in my shadow as a kid...But we are all grown up now and have a great relationship. I came home to both kids in bed(made me sad and happy at the same time)...I got myself to bed by around midnight once all my meds kicked in!

Meal Planning
I have found since I started meal planning that I spend FAR less in the grocery store...I don't make a weekly trip unless I HAVE to!
I tend to meal plan, then make an ingredient list...Go to my stockpile room and scratch off what I have them plan out my trips...I normally go to Wal-Mart twice a month...I do twice so I can get fresh deli meats and produce when needed. Normally Shaw's trips are just for the deals :)
Jeff said he is sick of Pasta and Spaghetti and Sauces as am I. So I tried to vary it up a little its just VERY hard with him because he is a very picky eater. There are a few pastas in there but no Meatballs, Spaghetti, etc. He likes his meals about 25000 calories and full of cheese, grease and fat. I on the other hand love fresh veggies and simple flavors!
Our Feb Meal Plan...PLEASE comment with recipes and new ideas for meals...I need help!

My weekly goals
Sundays are becoming so calm and mellow around here and I LOVE it! We had our big breakfast..Jeff is working on the house and I cleaned. Ms Thing is walking around chasing me, the cat, and her brother...basically anyone that will play with her..The prince is helping Daddy finish up the Master Bath :)
As for this week...I wont claim to any walking because I don't want to spend the money to drive over 50 miles a week just to walk...I will try and get out there today when it warms up..I can probably take both kids out tomorrow as well and walk if I have enough time! I would like to lose another pound!
I also want to do well with my job interview. I want to make sure that I am honest with them...I do not want to work every weekend nor will I. I want to make sure they know that I am a mother and my kids come first and foremost. This isn't a do or die job just some part time retail to bring in extra cash. We will see how it goes...Jeff is extremely uncomfortable with me working in a store that is basically 95% men for employees and customers. I however am happily married and wear my rings and am not shady so he has nothing to worry about!
As for the house I would like to grab a few boxes and start boxing up all the stuff in the office so that when the time comes to start the office everything gets stored neatly and is not mass chaos!

need to go through the kids closets and drawers and throw out all the yucky play clothes that are destroyed and stained. Go through the small stuff and send it off to good will, organize the mess that has accumulated on the bottom of the closets. I even did my closet and all of the kids toys!
